Аннотация

The structures of K3[Ir(C2O4)3]·0.5KCl·4H2O and K3[Ir(C2O4)3]·4.25H2O were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Thermal transformations of the compounds were studied by several physical methods. Single-step coordination sphere decomposition followed by formation of Ir and CO2 was shown. It is found that the redox process with CO2 release passes easier for K3[Ir(C2O4)3]·0.5KCl compound than for K3[Ir(C2O4)3] one.
