Abstract

Experimental and numerical investigation of the interaction of supersonic jets is performed. The localization of jets is restricted by the walls of the semi-open channel. The jets intersect at a single point. The values of pressures on the surface of the channel as well as the total pressure at the exit of the channel were obtained. The shadow photography is applied for registering the flow structure. The strong influence of the prechamber pressure as well as the ratio of area of the inlet holes to the area of the channel output section on the formation of the flow structure is shown.
