Abstract

The original project of a sub-mm wave generator (frequency interval 0.1÷1 THz) based on transformation of plasma waves pumped by a high-current relativistic electron beam is developed at the GOL-PET facility. Results of recent experimental studies, theoretical analysis and computer simulations for this scheme of sub-mm wave generation are presented in the paper.
