Abstract

Multimode 940-nm diode radiation is shown to be converted in graded-index fibers into high-quality (M2≤2) 976-nm Raman beam due to parabolic pump beam, its homogeneous depletion above threshold, mode-selective feedback by FBG and nonlinear effects.
