Abstract
A method of direct measurement of the photoelectron collection efficiency in microchannel plate photomultiplier tubes (MCP PMT) has been developed. The method was verified by testing a PMT with conventional dynode system. The measurement accuracy of 5% was achieved. Large number of MCP PMTs produced in Novosibirsk (Russia) was tested.
