Abstract

The data on AM2О8 materials (А = Zr, Hf; M = Mo, W) exhibiting negative thermal expansion are reviewed. Synthesis methods, polymorphs, thermal properties, and the possibility of using these materials as thermal expansion compensators in composites are considered.
