Abstract

The inclusion compound [Zn 2 (dmf)(bdc)(S-lac)] · 0.5FTA (FTA = phthalic anhydride) is obtained by keeping the crystals of porous homochiral metal-organic coordination polymer [Zn 2 (dmf)(bdc)(S-lac)] · DMF (DMF = N,N-dimethylformamide, H 2 bdc = terephthalic acid, S-H 2 lac = S-lactic acid) with excess phthalic anhydride at 100 °C. The crystal structure of the compound is determined by X-ray crystallography.
