Generation of Perfect Vector Vortex Beams Using Diffractive Optical Elements

Abstract

We propose and demonstrate a convenient experimental method to produce perfect vector vortex beams in the terahertz range. Since diameters of such beams do not depend on the topological charge, they can be applied for the generation of surface plasmon polaritons on wires.
