Abstract

Coupled geomechanic and fluid flow analysis is applied to reduce ambiguity of the solution of the inverse problem and to increase reliability of oil reservoir parameters definition. Interpretation of the oil well electrics data on the basis of geophysical and hydrodynamic compatibility model was carried out with materials from the Russkinsky and the Tevlinsko-Russkinsky oil fields of Western Siberia. The object of research is the Jurassic oil collector which has a complex structure of penetration zone. Input parameters of joint model were determined from data of geophysical study of borehole and core analysis.
