Digital range-gated surveillance device without an image intensifier

Abstract

The paper describes range-gated surveillance device designed for search and rescue operations in limited visibility conditions. The device is based on interline CCD image sensor and range-gating method of the device is realized without use of an image intensifier. The paper provides the design features of the device. Also main specifications of it are given.
