Abstract

We demonstrate the results of numerical design of a modified fiber 8-figure laser cavity based on particle swarm algorithm. Numerical model of the laser cavity was -based on nonlinear Schrödinger equation. To show - potential of the method we test it to find architectures of laser cavity generating pulses with desired time duration and spectral width in the range of 5 - 100 ps and 0.2 - 20 nm.
