abstract = "Cellulose has been shown to be a perspective substrate for the photocatalytic hydrogen evolution over CdSbased photocatalyst under visible light irradiation (450 nm). Multiphase photocatalyst was synthesized throw simple two-stage method. Samples obtained were characterized by UV-Vis spectroscopy and XRD techniques. The influence of such reaction parameters as photocatalyst loading, substrate concentration and pH was investigated. The highest hydrogen evolution rate equaled to 0.8 mmol·h-1·gcat-1 with the calculated apparent quantum yield of 1.1 %.",
