Analysis of Regular Accelerating Structures of a Linear Accelerator for the Injector of Siberian Photon Ring Source

Abstract

The required manufacturing accuracy, initial beam parameters, and specific features of longitudinal and transverse dynamics of the accelerating structure on the basis of an iris-loaded waveguide produced at the Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics (Siberian Branch, Russian Academy of Sciences) are analyzed. Based on data on the accelerating structure, it is proposed to create a linear accelerator for the injector of the Siberian ring photon source. The analysis is carried out taking into account technical specifications of the photon-source injector.
