Agent-oriented simulation: New advantages in simulation optimization

Abstract

Using intellectual program agents in simulation optimization, especially in optimizing system behavior and/or strategy is discussed in the paper. Advantages of this approach are shown in general and concerning parallel and distributed simulation of large complex systems.
