Abstract
The article is devoted to the generalization of the experience of teaching the French language in a multicultural context in practical training at two leading universities in Novosibirsk. A feature of the teaching of the French language is the consideration of socio-cultural factors, the specificity of the mentality of the culture carriers of Russia and France. Particular attention is paid to the level approach, which fully corresponds to the all-European training standards
