Abstract

The problem of moral act in continental philosophy of XX century is interpreted mostly with the focus on Bataille`s transgression. However, the distinction between the conceptions of the act of Bataille and Lacan allows us to discuss another model, based on the concept of excess. Poststructural theories in this respect are not homogeneous, besides the text-centric model (Bataille), it is important to pay attention to another model, oriented towards subjective repercussions of the act (Lacan). This second model can be very useful for reclaiming the problem of responsibility for the act in poststructuralism
