Abstract
This article analyzes gold and silver vessels from the territory of Southern Siberia. The production of gold and silver metalwork was characterised by a great
variability in respect of style and forms changing from one period to another. The vessels of the fifth type from the typology created by us are of the greatest
interest. Their corpus was curved and they had seven or eight walls and a round stem. Their origin is discussed. We propose that these artifacts are not local
and they were supplied to nomadic tribes inhabiting the Eurasian steppes. In the research there are specifics of their territorial spreading and analogies of
vessels. It is quite obvious that they have similarities with Sogdian and Thai silver in the form and details of the ornament, which left a clear trace of multicultural interrelation.
