Abstract
The article contains analitical overview of strength, personnel and stationing scheme of Russian regular army units in Siberia through 18th and start of 19th centuries. This overview is published for the first time in historiography. Basing on wide range of archive sources and literature, the authors reveal some factors determining dynamics of these troops.
