Keywords: millimeter and THz radiation, subwavelength frequency-selective structures, microwave action, beam-plasma interaction.

Experience in organizing, including conferences, workshops, lectures abroad:
1. Conducted lectures at the Technical University of Leipzig and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (Germany).
2. Editor-in-Chief of the "Siberian Journal of Physics" (ISSN 2541-9447), included in the list of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

Information for graduate students

Possible research topics

  1. Creation and study of subwave structures in the submm and terahertz ranges.
  2. Study of the possibility of controlling submm and terahertz radiation flows by electrodynamic methods.
  3. Investigations of the spectral composition and wave characteristics of submm radiation generated by beam-plasma interaction.

List of current and planned R&D projects

Russian Science Foundation (RSF) project in which PhD students can participate:

RSF project No. 19-12-00250-P (2012-2023), topic: "Generation of a megawatt flux of submm radiation of microsecond duration during the passage of a kiloampere electron beam through a plasma column".

Special requirements for a postgraduate student

A high level of knowledge in electrodynamics and solid state physics, a good level of mastery of devices in the process of passing workshops in physics, the desire for active independent work.

Motivation for graduate student (on the style of interaction with a supervisor):

The ability to work both independently in terms of literature, as well as the development of methods, techniques and instruments, and in a team based on active interaction with colleagues and employees of NSU and Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics is expected from a PhD student.
